Kelly Clarkson at the Mall of America

Kelly Clarkson prize in hand
Kelly Clarkson is an American Idol. Kelly recently made a small appearance at the Mall of America and sang a few songs for the opening of latest Microsoft store. We have came across some really good fan videos and would like to share! Check out this fan video from when Kelly made her appearance:

Kelly Clarkson made her way back Thursday night to the place where it all started: American Idol. What does she have to say about Casey Abrams?
Kelly Clarkson made her return to the American Idol stage last night to perform her country hit Don’t You Wanna Stay with Jason Aldean. The singer wore a fitted black dress as she belted out the song -- and she sounded as amazing as ever.

Idol host Ryan Seacrest introduced Clarkson as "someone the world knows as the platinum-selling Grammy winner, but to us she's the girl who started it all."

She took the time to take a few jabs at Seacrest about her tweets.
"You keep rephrasing them," she said, referring to something she wrote last week about American Idol finalist Casey Abrams.
"I might have a bit of a crush on Casey on American Idol this season. He's super cute and obviously super talented. Great job tonight man!" she tweeted.
She added to her admiration last night.
"He's certainly delicious. He's cute," she replied. "But you don't say the whole thing."

She followed up her performance with a Friday morning tweet.
"I had such a great time on Idol last night. I had fun singing with Jason and I love that every time I go back to Idol the set is even bigger! It's so funny to me that this show has just become a monster," she wrote. "All of the contestants are super talented but I can't help but root for Lauren! She has such an amazing texture to her voice. Regardless of who wins I can't wait to hear some music from some of them."
We’re sure the Idol contestants are so excited to get the stamp of approval from the original American Idol. We love her -- and we can’t wait for a new album from the singer.

Watch Kelly Clarkson & Jason Aldean Perform Their Hit On ‘American Idol’
While we were forced to say goodbye to heartthrob Paul McDonald last night on American Idol, we did get to see the return of Kelly Clarkson to the Idol stage. Kelly performed her No. 1 hit “Don’t You Want to Stay” with country superstar Jason Aldean on the results show.

Ryan Seacrest introduced her as “someone the world knows as the platinum-selling Grammy winner, but to us she’s the girl who started it all.”

Kelly belted the country ballad with her partner, and wore a fitted black dress for the occasion.
After the performance, Kelly teased Ryan on talking about her Tweets.
“You keep rephrasing them,” she said.
Then Ryan asked about a Tweet she wrote about contestant Casey Abrams.
“He’s certainly delicious. He’s cute,” she replied, as Casey blushed on the couches with the other Idol hopefuls. “But you don’t say the whole thing.”

“It’s a very short results show,” Ryan continued. “I’ve got to get right to it.”
“Just like a man,” Clarkson said, leading to a roar from the crowd and judge Jennifer Lopez.

Humanitarian Crisis on Libya's Borders (WFP Responds)

WFP Responds for Humanitarian Crisis

For provide food crisis in North Africa to 1.06 million people. For that WFP is launching a US$ 39.2 million emergency operation. WFP is launching a US$ 39.2 million emergency operation to provide food assistance to 1.06 million people. The food will go to vulnerable populations in Libya, and to people fleeing across borders into Tunisia and Egypt. Get operational update
ROME -- WFP is calling for safe humanitarian access to Libya so that food can be provided to address the needs of those people – especially women and children – who may need assistance.
“We urgently call for safe humanitarian access to Libya,” said WFP Executive Director, Josette Sheeran, after a WFP-chartered ship carrying food to Libya was forced to turn back amid security concerns. “We are exploring every possible humanitarian corridor to be prepared in case needs escalate,” Sheeran added.

WFP has launched a regional emergency operation that aims to provide food assistance to vulnerable populations in Libya, and to people fleeing across borders into Tunisia and Egypt. A total of 1.06 million people are targeted over a 3-month period.

Prepositioning supplies
Meanwhile, the UN food agency is mobilizing food for the hungry – delivering food assistance to Libya’s borders with Egypt and Tunisia and pre-positioning supplies for use inside the country.
WFP High Energy Biscuits are already being distributed at crossing points on the Libya-Tunisa border and more food is on the way for the people fleeing violence in Libya.

“Standing on the Libya border with tens of thousands fleeing violence I realized that unless the world acts we may be facing an historic human tragedy,” said WFP Executive Director Josette Sheeran who traveled to the Tunisia-Libya border last week to meet local authorities, aid organisations, and people who have fled violence.

More than 110,000 people have crossed into Tunisia in the past week, and many of the arrivals say they have had limited access to food during the journey from their homes and workplaces in Libya.

“Most have been travelling for three or four days. They are walking and have had nothing to eat for up to 48 hours,”  said WFP’s spokeswoman Abeer Etefa, who is at the Tunisian-Libyan border. Very sorry to say, “Local communities are showing great generosity and solidarity, providing the people who arrive with food and other supplies.

Carmelo Anthony Is the Victim Of Another Corporate-Sponsored Wedding
NBA star, Carmelo Anthony and former MTV hostess, Lala Vasquez have finally decided to tie the knot. But, not in the traditional way where the couple invites family and their closes friends. Oh no, never that. Instead, Lala arranged a way for herself and Carmelo Anthony to get paid off of their wedding arrangements. And who's the main sponsor? VH1, of course. Instead of celebrating their love, the couple opted to flaunt their corporate ties and have everything in their wedding sponsored from the Vera Wang wedding dress to the NYC flashy after party. One question should really be asked of the couple. How often do we see these corporate-ized weddings succeed? Maybe Carmelo Anthony should've given Star Jones a call before he said 'I do'.
Hilary Duff Rushed To Emergency
Dental Appointment On Wedding Day
Former Disney star, Hilary Duff, used to play the accident-prone star of Lizzie McGuire and apparently, that jinx leaked over into her wedding day. Somehow, Hilary Duff managed to chip her tooth, just hours before the wedding to Mike Comrie forcing her closest associates to drop what they were doing and cart her off to the nearest dentist:

"I started my day with a chipped tooth. My wedding planner snuck me out to the dentist! Thank goodness it was fixed within the hour."

No worries about the bill, Hilary Duff is planning on making sure that the new tooth gets plenty of exercise after the wedding:

I wanted junk food - because I've been so good. I said to my sister Haylie, 'After the wedding is over, I'm going to eat 16,000 calories!'

"The food was one of the most exciting parts of planning. The catering company cooked everything for us so we could taste everything they were going to serve. Mike and I have a favourite restaurant, Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, so they modelled this delicious truffled corn ravioli from there. We had pigs in a blanket; these really cute heart-shaped, puffed, fried things; sliders with Wagyu beef and Gruyere cheese; pepper-crusted rib-eye steak; and miso-glazed black cod.

"We did a jalapeno pineapple martini that my mom actually created. And the dessert station had warm, molten chocolate cake and profiterole ice cream sandwiches with hot fudge dipping sauce. I'm drooling just thinking about it!"
CHELSEA CLINTON
Stressed Out Over Royal Wedding
Chelsea Clinton might be undergoing prenuptial counseling.  As we reported recently, Chelsea Clinton is set to have the wedding of the decade.  President Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey are among 500 people reported invited to Chelsea Clinton's wedding. Other celebrity guest includes singer-actress-director Barbra Streisand, former British Prime Minister John Major, filmmaker Steven Spielberg with wife Kate Capshaw and media mogul Ted Turner.

However, Chelsea never wanted a royal-style wedding with hundreds of guests, but her parents insisted, and she gave in. As a result, Chelsea is a nervous wreck as her wedding approaches,” a source said. “She’s terrified that she’ll disgrace herself and her family by turning into a ‘runaway bride’ at the last minute.
Lala Vasquez Shows Carmelo Anthony
Post-Marriage Appreciation
NBA star, Carmelo Anthony is totally living it up with the old ball and chain Lala Vasquez. Despite the fact that they're married, Lala still knows her job in winning Carmelo isn't over. He is an NBA star after all and that means that he could be victim of a groupie attack at any time. Lala Vasquez's mom was smart enough to make sure she knows that the best way to keep a man is with a pre-emptive strike of your own - and that means random lap dances better than any stripper-groupie could muster everyday of the week. If Lala can keep this up, we don't see a divorce anywhere near their future - especially if the rumors about the pic below are true:
Bill Clinton In Good Spirit After Heart Procedure
Former president Bill Clinton, was hospitalized at New York-Presbyterian Hospital's Columbia campus after experiencing brief periods of reported chest pains over several days. Two stents were used to restore blood flow to a coronary artery Thursday after images revealed that a bypass graft -- part of a quadruple bypass surgery that Clinton underwent in 2004 - was blocked, Schwartz said. According to his doctor:

"Bill Clinton has shown "no evidence of heart attack or damage to his heart," and his prognosis is excellent after undergoing a procedure Thursday to restore blood flow in one of his coronary arteries".

After the procedure, his doctor reported:

"He's in good spirits, and we hope to have him go home tomorrow.."

In Kathmandu Hollywood keeps its date

Leonardo DiCaprio
Less than a year after "Titanic" star Leonardo DiCaprio made an incognito visit to Nepal, guess who is here to continue Hollywood's tryst with the land of the Himalayas? It's actress Demi Moore.

The 48-year-old star of movies like "Ghost", "Indecent Proposal" and "Disclosure", is in Nepal to visit the birthplace of the Buddha as well as familiarise herself with Maiti Nepal, the country's biggest anti-trafficking NGO that became known worldwide last year after its founder Anuradha Koirala won an online poll to become CNN's hero of the year.

Moore, who is hitting the headlines more for her romance and marriage with Ashton Kucher, an actor 15 years younger, than her career, came to Nepal on the invitation of Koirala.

During the visit, kept a tightly guarded secret, Moore, the highest paid actress in the 1990s, went to southern Nepal and was introduced to some local celebrities like Nepali singer Rajesh Payal Rai.

Dressed in simple outfits like tight fawn slacks topped with a light blouse and a figure-hugging black dress, Moore blended easily with the other Western tourists, hardly creating a ripple till Thursday, the day of her departure.

Known for her adventurous ways, especially appearing nude on Vanity Fair when she was seven months pregnant, Moore's assistance is being sought to promote the work of Maiti Nepal, which besides rescuing trafficked victims, runs rehabilitation homes, schools for victims' children as well as a hospice.

The star visit also comes as a shot in the arm for the government of Nepal, which is seeking to draw 1 million airborne tourists this year to kickstart the flagging economy.

Last year, DiCaprio came to Nepal courtesy World Wildlife Fund to promote its campaign to double the number of surviving tigers in the world, including over 120 in Nepal.

Other celebs to have casually dropped in are Hollywood icon and the Dalai Lama's friend Richard Gere, Cameron Diaz, Eva Mendes, Cher and Sting.(IANS)

Bynes made her film debut in 2002's modest box office success, Big Fat Liar, where she starred opposite Frankie Muniz. I was never that girl. I grew up with terrible acne and feeling insecure. I was tall and skinny. I didn't feel pretty at all, and guys didn't even like me. That's why I got into comedy."Bynes has also said that her relatability to teenage audiences may stem from the fact that she is "more similar to them than some... socialite or whatever."

In the film, Bynes disguises herself as her brother in order to join the boys' soccer team due to the fall of the girls' team. Producers had originally wanted to cast singer Jesse McCartney as Bynes' brother, noting a physical resemblance between McCartney and Bynes disguised as a boy, but McCartney was unavailable.[citation needed] James Kirk plays her brother in the film. Around the time of the film's release, Bynes commented that she would like to start appearing in more mature roles, and believes that she is still developing her acting skills and maturing as an actress, saying that she is "getting better" with each role. Bynes appeared in another romantic comedy, Lovewrecked, which was shot before She's the Man but released after it, showing in cinemas outside of the United States in 2005 and 2006 and debuting in the U.S. on the ABC Family network on January 21, 2007. In June 2009, Bynes inked a two picture deal with Screen Gems. The first of the two movies was the 2010 teen comedy Easy A, starring Emma Stone and Lisa Kudrow, and the second was to have been a starring role. Bynes also planned to reprise her role as Penny Pingleton in the sequel to Hairspray. However, Hairspray 2 was canceled.

Fashion
In 2007, Bynes signed a five-year deal with Steve & Barry's to create her own fashion line, Dear, consisting of apparel and accessories. The line launched in stores August 16, 2007. Personal life
Bynes started out at University Elementary, and later graduated from Thousand Oaks High School's independent study program (though she attended La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks for some time).[citation needed] She briefly moved into an apartment in Hollywood, California, but has since returned to her family home in Thousand Oaks.
In 2007, Bynes spoke out against becoming another wild Hollywood star: "I think I’ll go out as much as I’ve ever gone out... which is not a lot. I like to dance and stuff, but drinking isn’t good for you in every way. It’s not good for your skin; it makes you feel horrible. So, drinking-wise, no."She restated these ideas in interviews throughout the summer of 2007, telling Access Hollywood: "I like being with my family and friends, and I don't need to be out at the clubs."

Bynes appeared in lingerie on the cover of the February 2010 issue of Maxim magazine, highlighting her photo spread inside. She stated "I think every shot ... was sexy" and that the new look is "who I am."

Conflict of Libya

Libya ‘open to reform’, rebels pushed back. Libya’s government said on Tuesday it is ready to negotiate reforms but only as long as Moammar Gaddafi is not forced out, as loyalists troops pushed rebel fighters back from the key oil port of Brega. Gaddafii’s son Seif al-Islam meanwhile dismissed former foreign minister Mussa Kussa, who defected to the West last week, as just a “sick and old” man who had succumbed to the psychological pressures of war.
Air Strikes on Libya

Libyan government spokesman Mussa Ibrahim told journalists in Tripoli that everything except the departure of Gaddafi was negotiable, saying he was a unifying figure after ruling the nation for four decades.
“What kind of political system is implemented in the country? This is negotiable, we can talk about it,” Ibrahim said. “We can have anything, elections, referendums.”

But Gaddafi’s future was sacrosanct, he stressed, only hours after opposition rebels flatly rejected a reported peace deal that could see the embattled leader’s son take charge of the north African nation.

Gaddafi was “the safety valve” for the unity of the country’s tribes and people, Ibrahim said. “We think he is very important to lead any transition to a democratic and transparent model.”

In a show of defiance, Gaddafi greeted supporters late Monday in his first public appearance since March 22 at his Bab el-Aziziya residence in Tripoli, bombed by coalition forces two days earlier, national television said. Seif al-Islam, long seen as the successor to his father before the wave of protests shook the country, briefly showed up at a Tripoli hotel to record an interview with the BBC in which he made dismissive comments about Kussa, once a pillar of the regime. Seif, who had not been seen in public since coalition air strikes began on March 19, said Kussa had been allowed to leave the country for medical treatment. “Regarding Mussa Kussa, he said ‘I’m on a travel ban list and I’m sick and I have to go every three months to Cromwell hospital, in London, if I can get permission. I want to go there,’ so ... and we allow him to go to Djerba, in Tunisia, so there’s nothing against that,” Seif said.
War in Libya

He added: “We have been bombed for two weeks, imagine the psychological pressure and you are sick and old, so you resign. It’s a war.”
Asked what information Kussa might provide the West, Seif said: “He’s sick, he’s sick and old, of course, he would come out with funny stories.”

But he dismissed the idea Kussa might have secrets to share. “Like what? The British and Americans know about Lockerbie, there’s no secrets anymore.”And he scoffed at suggestions that his
father might stand down. “You will see,” he said.
The US government lifted sanctions against Kussa after he defected to Britain, a move designed to further weaken Gaddafi’s inner circle.

Kussa’s assets were frozen last month as part of a US and allied campaign to pile pressure on the Libyan leader and his closest advisers. Gaddafi’s forces were hit by a NATO airstrike near Brega after they launched an intensive artillery barrage that sent rebels fleeing from the outskirts of the east Libya port.
Two loyalist pick-up trucks heading for rebel positions were destroyed in the morning raid, but the soldiers inside appeared to have escaped unhurt, an AFP correspondent said.

The airstrike occurred just east of Brega, the scene of fierce fighting over the past week, as Gaddafi’s forces began pushing rebels back towards the opposition-held transport hub of Ajdabiya, 80 kilometres (50 miles) away.

Just minutes before the NATO airstrike, entire families were seen fleeing the port town in cars, saying they could no longer take the heavy fighting between the ill-equipped rebels and the better-armed Gaddafi forces.
“Brega is almost deserted. There are only few men and their sons to guard the houses,” Sami Ali, a resident of Brega told AFP.

“Our men (rebels) are in the city (on the east), but the forces of Gaddafi are shooting at them (from the west).” Tuesday’s thrust by the loyalists appeared to mark the first real movement in the ground battle since last Thursday, when the two sides hunkered down around Brega after Kadhafi’s forces sent the rebels stampeding out of a string of vital oil terminals. Despite days of intense exchanges, neither side was able to make any headway, with Gaddafis men not willing to risk advancing through the open desert, where they are easy targets for NATO air strikes, and the insurgents without the necessary weaponry to counter the loyalists’ artillery.

Meanwhile, a tanker was due to dock in the key port of Tobruk on Tuesday to pick up the first oil cargo from the rebel-held part of Libya in 18 days, a spokesman for Lloyd’s List said.

“There is a tanker which is scheduled to arrive later today at the oil terminal near Tobruk, according to Lloyd’s Intelligence checking data,” said Michelle Wiese Bockmann, markets editor of Lloyd’s List, a shipping news and data provider.

Olivia Wilde life

Olivia Wilde
Model Olivia  is the proud of American people. This woman is a good actress and model. She (born Olivia Jane Cockburn; March 10, 1984)[1] is an American actress and model. She began acting in the early 2000s, and has since appeared in a number of film and television parts, including roles in the serial-drama The O.C. and The Black Donnellys. She portrays Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley in the TV drama House,[1] and in 2010 starred as Quorra in Tron: Legacy.

Early life
Wilde was born in New York City on March 10, 1984. Her mother, Leslie Cockburn (née Redlich), is a 60 Minutes producer and journalist. Her father, Andrew Cockburn, who was born in London, England, and raised in Ireland, is a journalist, as are her uncles Alexander Cockburn and Patrick Cockburn (all of whom contribute to the political website CounterPunch.org). Her sister, Chloe Cockburn, is a civil rights attorney in New York; her late aunt, Sarah Caudwell, was a writer, and her paternal grandfather, Claud Cockburn, was a novelist/journalist.

Wilde has said that as a result of her family background, she has a "strong journalistic streak", being "really critical and analytical".[1] Both her parents were prominent in the Washington social scene, hosting dinner parties. Her mother once recounted a story of a young Wilde eavesdropping one night on a conversation between Richard Holbrooke and Mick Jagger until Jagger noticed her and shooed her to bed. She has wanted to become an actress since the age of two.[1] For a short time, Wilde's family had a house in Guilford, Vermont. She attended Georgetown Day School in Washington, D.C., as well as Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, graduating in 2002. She also attended The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland for a short time.[1]
Career

Wilde has appeared in the films The Girl Next Door, Alpha Dog, Conversations with Other Women and Turistas. She became known for her role on The O.C. as Alex Kelly, although she originally auditioned for the role of Marissa Cooper. She has also appeared in the Dashboard Confessional music video for "Stolen", and the French Kicks music video for "So Far We Are". She was strongly considered to play Bond girl Vesper Lynd in the 21st Bond film Casino Royale but Eva Green eventually won the role.
In 2009 Wilde was ranked #1 on Maxim magazine's Hot 100.[2] It was an honor which was included as an inside joke during the House episode "The Tyrant", where House, upon hearing about Foreman's recent firing of Wilde's character, sarcastically teased, "My condolences. Although, it's not like she's the hottest woman in the world."[3] She was also ranked #95 on the FHM 100 Sexiest Women of 2006.[4] She was one of the key models in Abercrombie & Fitch's "Rising Stars" campaign in summer of 2004.
In 2007, Wilde was a part of the ensemble cast of the short-lived NBC mid-season drama The Black Donnellys. Her character, Jenny Reilly, was the lone principal female character in the series following the lives of an Irish-American family tied to organized crime in New York City. Also in 2007, Wilde appeared in the play Beauty on the Vine, a political thriller, playing three different characters.
Wilde joined the cast of the Fox medical drama House in autumn 2007, playing a young internist, Dr. Remy Hadley, nicknamed Thirteen, who works closely with Dr. House. Wilde told Star magazine how she sometimes takes cues from her character even when she's not working, saying, "I'm now convinced that I'm a doctor. I mean, if someone says they have a pain, I'm like, 'Well, that's your spleen.'"[5][6]
The New York Observer has described Wilde as having a "throaty voice" and the "wide, teal-eyed charisma of Hollywood in the days of yore".[1] She has cited Meryl Streep, Sigourney Weaver, Frances McDormand, Catherine Keener and Robin Wright Penn as acting inspirations.[1]
She won the 2006 US Comedy Arts Festival Film Discovery Jury Award for Best Actress for Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas (2006) and in 2008 at the Teen Choice Awards she was nominated for the Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Breakout Star Female for House M.D. and won the Rising Star Award at the Vail Film Festival.
On October 7, 2008, Wilde appeared in a video on funnyordie.com showing how much she enjoys registering early for the 2008 Presidential election, "Olivia Wilde Does It Early".[7] Wilde appeared alongside Jack Black and Michael Cera in the 2009 comedy Year One.

Pretty Julianne Hough Idol of America make relation with Ryan Seacrest

Pretty Julianne Hough
American Idol Julianne Hough not only pretty but also a Country singer Julianne Hough and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest have been dating for about a year and there has recently been a rumor circulating that the two are reportedly engaged.

In a recent interview with People Magazine, Seacrest shot that rumor down. He stated that he and Hough were extremely happy with their relationship, but there are no plans to wed just yet. Hough stated that Seacrest was an amazing boyfriend and that he was really happy.
The happy couple may not be engaged right now, but there may be one in the near future if their relationship keeps going as well as it is going now.

JULIANNE Hough flashed the flesh on the red carpet at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas Sunday night. Hough recently revealed she wants beau Ryan Sea crest to put a ring on it! The former Dancing With the Stars pro has been dating the American Idol host for several months and admits she’d love to settle down and start a family.

“Have I got any jewelry on my hands? I don’t think so. No, not on my fingers, no,” Julianne told US TV show Extra of the engagement rumors. “I would love to get married and have kids eventually in my life. We’ll see. We kinda both work really hard, but it works. We make the time.”

Recent reports claimed Seacrest had bought Hough a ring. “Ryan already has the ring — and it’s a rock — four to five carats,” a source said. But it is unbelievable
“Money was no object for Ryan — expect the Rolls Royce of engagement rings.“He’s had it for a while and is in the process of planning the engagement. It’s going to happen within the next few months or so!”

Another pal refused to confirm or deny the report, but did admit 36-year-old Ryan has never been happier. “If Ryan was planning to propose, why would I spoil the whole surprise for him?” said the pal. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen him like this over a girl before, ever… they fit together so perfectly.

“All his family adore her too, and I know his mom would be really happy to see him settle down with Julianne and work on giving her some grandchildren!”

In Egypt riots & oil

Peoples Movement

Middle East riots anti government. People in movement before government. Riots over high food are snowballing through the Middle East, and the latest theatre of these riots, Egypt, has Western Powers worried. Very worried. Never mind a democratic regime, free elections and freedom of speech. The real worry here is oil, or the control thereof.
Egyptians are starving because Egypt is past Peak Oil

Million People in movement
Egypt's oil production peaked in 1996 at 922,000 barrels/day. Since then, Egypt's oil output has declined an alarming 26%. Moreover this decline is amplified each year as the rate of depletion in existing wells accelerates. As in most middle-eastern oil exporting nations, oil accounts for the quasi totality of this country's exports and economy (not a single Egyptian company is listed on the SP500). Egypt which used to be self-sufficient in all basic food groups back in the 1960s now imports most of its food and the state has relied on oil revenues to subsidize food prices. But as Egypt's post-peak oil production plummets, so do food subsidies and food prices surge. Unlike the USA which can and does print more dollars sold to the Chinese to counter its trade deficit, Egypt cannot find buyers for the currency it prints and double-digit inflation is the norm. As food prices increase worldwide, this increase in price is multiplied in food importing countries like Egypt with a weak currency. But the real reason why these riots are so publicized in the West lies in the disastrous consequences they may have for the Global Oil Supply.
